Who is Ciacco?

Chi è Ciacco? - la Tana di CIacco

Ye citizens were wont to name me Ciacco: for the sin of gluttony

(Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy, Hell, Canto VI)

The name The Lair of Ciacco was born in honour of the protagonist of Canto VI of the Hell of Dante Alighieri, Ciacco, the greedy sinner par excellence.
We don't know so many things about him, only some informations provided by Dante in the Divine Comedy and by Boccaccio in the Decameron (IX, 8), where he defines Ciacco  a "man gluttonous as any other would never be..."

Mission

Our main goal is to make the world discover again the true Italian flavor, the traditional and high-quality ones that the fake Made in Italy has made lost. Our country is rich in excellent raw materials that we have a duty to protect and enhance.

The Products

Our products reflect precisely this idea: from the raw materials of absolute quality and the processing, that must be strictly artisanal, to the packaging, that must reflect the excellence of the product, everything moves around the concept of excellence, which is Italy for us and for the whole world.

Green Gold

From the union of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and small flakes of 23 carat edible gold, Green Gold is born, the perfect luxury oil to be presented at the table for a special occasion or for an important gift. Green Gold, in fact, is presented inserted in its box: opening it you will find the bottle tilted at 45 ° in front of you so that the flakes do not settle for an even more wow effect, which makes it a real gem.
